DonutNV McKinney is looking for a hands-on Food Truck Manager to lead our interactive mobile food trailer to deliver unforgettable guest experiences across the communities we serve. This is more than a food service role; it’s an opportunity to run events, motivate a team, operate our state-of-the-art donut equipment, and serve hot, fresh mini donuts that bring the party wherever we go. We’re searching for a dependable leader with a strong hospitality mindset, operational confidence, and the ability to manage logistics from setting up at events to preparing drinks and working the fryer. Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence • Deliver an exceptional customer experience while serving a high-quality product • Lead all event logistics including inventory planning, menu readiness, setup, service flow, and breakdown • Ensure the inside equipment and outside trailer remain clean, organized, and fully operational • Identify and resolve operational or equipment issues quickly to prevent downtime or lost sales • Report any equipment concerns promptly to leadership • Gather images of events (guests, trailer, prep, product etc) for social media use
Hands-On Leadership • Confidently operate the DonutNV donut machine, prepare the donuts, address any sudden equipment issues with ease as to avoid any loss of sales or downtime • Maintain strong food quality standards and brand presentation
Team Leadership & Sales Mindset • Manage, coach, and motivate a small team to create energy, efficiency, and strong sales results • Delegate tasks such as beverage preparation, customer service, setup, breakdown, cleaning, and inventory maintenance • Foster a positive, team-first culture that reflects the DonutNV brand
Mobile Event Execution • Oversee all aspects of events from preparation through completion • Assist with loading, transport readiness, and event execution • In certain situations, drive the DonutNV mobile unit to and from events
What We’re Looking For: • Experience managing in a quick-service restaurant, food truck, catering, or hospitality environment • Food Manager Safety Certification (or ability to obtain certification) • Reliable transportation, proper identification and clean driving record • Strong leadership skills with a positive, solution-oriented attitude • Highly dependable with strong organizational skills • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor event environment • Ability to troubleshoot equipment calmly and effectively • Attention to detail and strong time management skills • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift 50+ lbs • Weekday/weekend/holiday and evening availability is a must
