Children’s Lighthouse of Anna is seeking a patient, dependable, and energetic Lead and Assistant Teacher to guide children ages 6m–5years in a safe and structured learning environment. This position supports the emotional, social, and academic growth of each child while following Children’s Lighthouse curriculum and state licensing standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily lessons and activities that support age-appropriate learning and skill development.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom that promotes exploration and independence.
• Supervise children consistently, ensuring safety and correct ratios at all times.
• Support children through structured play, group experiences, and hands-on learning.
• Observe and track children’s progress and communicate updates to families.
• Follow daily routines including transitions, meals, rest time, and outdoor play.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership.
• Work collaboratively with the assistant teacher and classroom team.
• Maintain compliance with state licensing rules and Children’s Lighthouse policies.
• Participate in required training and professional development.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood coursework preferred.
• Prior experience working with preschool-age children in a licensed childcare setting.
• Strong communication and classroom-management skills.
• Positive, dependable, and team-focused attitude.
• Ability to lift, bend, and actively engage with children throughout the day.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
